Down with Omega

I’ve already posted about this once, but I had to recontribute some images for my newest obsession- the amazing graffiti art in Vilnius. Especially the work of one tagger, Omega, whose designs and cool colors stand out crisply against the fresh winter snow. The best part about it is that Vilnius has so many abandoned house and buildings, it adds a little color to all the otherwise sad, crumbling decay.

Blown Away

Have you ever been lucky to have a friend that you know is going to be a phenom one day? Achieve personal success with their talents in such a way that, once into your golden years, you’ll be regaling your fellow cronies at Shady Pines with tales of how you knew this person? I’m lucky to have a handful of some very talented friends like this- comedians, painters, clothing designers….. and two of these said persons are constantly blowing me away.

Check out the latest progeny of Mimzy & James/LES Design/Plaztikmag, as it were….a music video/installation titled Wasted Youth. As my eyes voraciously devour each clip, I just know that one day, I’ll be wowing some saucer-eyed fashion student with tales of having hung out with the duo, participating in several moments that changed the landscape of the way we understand the way that art, music and fashion come together…..
