I’m pretty sure my brain exploded when I viewed this movie the first time. Soon after blowing my mind, I immediately watched it again and photographed every delicious fashion moment in this treat of a movie. I’ve always wanted to delve into a Colette novel, as she was quite the scandalous auteur of her day, but I never expected the pre-Dynasty era storyline and costumes by Consolata Boyle (SO renting every movie she has done costumes for!).
I want to live back in the Belle Epoque era in my next life- hello, leopard-printed lawn chairs in the conservatory with your morning cocktail, anyone???
