Whenever I feel like I lack a bit of sparkle, but I’m low on cash and some window-shipping is in order, I head to This N’ That Collectibles on West 25th st. for a quick fix. The sales clerk laughs at me when I press my nose to the window, imagining my “staircase moment” wrapped in yards of these jewels from the past. Though most of it is costume, I like the way its arranged, sort of like Elton John’s junk drawer in his 15th estate…..FYI, for those concerned readers out there who are desperate to get me a birthday present with no chance of failing your mission, I’m registered here…
