This was the lovely sign greeting me at the reception to my accountant’s office. My accountant, a self-professed “Tax Guru” whom I have been seeing for over 4 years, always has his eccentric quirks. This year, he was down to one cranky sign and only a five hour wait. Yup, its crazy, and you’re probably wondering I put up with it, but he does save me a lot of cash-ola.
That’s the magic answer to us poor freelancers. But despite my best efforts, I still had a massive lump sum to pay to the tax man. How did the rest of you freelancers fare this tax season?
I was able to also take a nice walk thru the Village later to clear my mind. Best of all, it was free. Here’s a lovely window I spied right next to the Cherry Lane Theater on Bank Street. I think it was a residence.
Apparently, beauty even exists in the garment center- here’s a beautifully restored ceiling on one of the office buildings.

More to come as I plan on exploring and taking a bit of a inspiration trip this weekend…..
