Another month of constant inspiration gathered on my point-and-shoot! Come take a walk with me as I wear down the tread on my sneaks gathering some choice pics. Can you feel the brisk early winter air?
I came across this building (I think) somewhere in the EV near the Astor Place stop and was overcome by the well-kept ornate exterior. My favorite was the swirly font lettering of the address in gold.
Below I wandered into the new Victoria’s Secret flagship on Lexington on the UES. I’ve been drooling over this style of chair ever since I saw it at Bergdorf Goodman’s top floor restaurant designed by Kelly Wearstler. Here they have recovered it in a B&W fabric (strikingly similar to my own apt’s curtain divider!) and a potpourri of sexy Angels in digital photographs, bits of lace, ruffles, feathers all pinned together with pearl-tipped pins.
I also like the clear frame they used below with translucent lace as the mounting background….
And, my favorite, the soft, white faux-leather “brick” tufted walls with crystals….
