I was superpsyched recently to try out fro Bravo’s new “as-yet-untitled” reality show…..so I whipped up a few creations. The always lovely America’s Next Top model finalist, Melrose Bickerstaff, volunteered her vamp strut to showcase my wares for the panel.
Unfortunately, I was not the chosen one, but I couldn’t have been happier with my latest creation. Its a collaboration between the artist Sarah Schrift and myself. Sarah hand-painted the fabric, a thick cotton canvas, which I adorned with stiff black tulle, exaggerated hook-and-eye closures in a fitted shift-dress shape.
