I heart the Wearst!

I once had an boyfriend who said he couldn’t stand it when I wore those “Grandma clothes”. He was, of course, referring to my penchant for vintage fashion and my predilection for eclectic glamour, which at that stage, I had just started to experiment with. Incidentally, I am no longer with the chap, and have since heard he has moved onto a very exciting life with a less geriatrically-inspired wife in the ‘burbs.

Milda piace Motoscafo

On my last day in Como, I was able to take part on the annual tradition of motorboat racing (or “motoscafo” as the Italians call it) on the lake. It was really cool- especially to see the lake turned into a huge playground for the day. We even got some great gear for the team we were rooting for- the Pirates for Team Rossa! We are here featured with a car that I refer to as the “flip-flop”…honestly, I felt like I was driving in a Birkenstock!!!!
